value wise for money - this is one great product
Pro's1. its got lot of great features and power2. its quite running - not much throttling under heavy loadsCon's if you want to call them that1. I would not mount this in a place something might get crushed on it ( case is plastic not metal - meaning it looks metal with paint job and the heat sink louvers all over it but they are for show ) - the heat dissipating is out back which is OK for the amount of Heat this unit produces vs. its AMPs / VOLT rating under load ( it keeps cost low so its not a HIGH IMPACT type of device) - also I would not mount this is my old CJ Jeep (its great for my Ford Explore - Laptop, devices needing more than AMPs and fast charging needed I want )Overall - I say I buy it again for enclosed spaces / control environment ( inside a car or truck)Its not targeted for high intensity environment's - so don't compare it to Stanly or Craftsman's grade 89 and up inverters ... its not in that class2.

This is NOT a good inverter
I didn't have high expectations when I bought this inverter, but it somehow managed to disappointment me. Let's start with the main gripe. It outputs ~95 volts. Yes. You read that right. I see 12.8 volts going in and 95 volts coming out. That is NOT acceptable and will damage pretty much anything with a motor. A little LED light fixture I have to indicate 120 power is present flickers noticeably on this inverter. I move the power back over to an all-in-one battery/inverter I own and the light is fine. I just bought this for messing around with a tiny solar lab I was building so it's not like this is the end of the world for me. It's just a really, really terrible product and doesn't deserve your money if you're expecting any real use out of it. Unfortunately, the low output voltage is not the only problem...I have a little 3 prong outlet tester and was expecting to see it show an open ground on this inverter since it isn't grounded. Nope. All 3 lights light up and I'm not sure what that means since the key on the tester doesn't indicate that as a possible combination. My tester works fine on my other inverter and all home outlets so it's not my tester. The listing indicates the housing of the inverter is metal, but it sure feels like plastic to me. The listing also indicates the inverter has 2 20 amp breakers and mine has 2 30 amp breakers. I'm not sure how 30 amps X 12 volts adds up to protect an inverter capable of 400/800 watts of output There are enough typos and questionable statements in the product listing that you know exactly what you're in for. The other 2 low effort 5-star reviews are suspicious in light of my actual experiences with this product. If I had intended to use this product for anything serious, I would return it in a heartbeat. You've been warned.

Does NOT put out 110v
Like a previous reviewer stated, this thing only puts out 95v. I wouldn't put anything remotely sensitive in this thing. I know it is cheap as far as inverters go, but damn this thing is garbage. Spend a few dollars more and get something actually usable. I now only use this to recharge some of my batteries, run an air pump on my fish tanks and some fans if needs be during power failures.
