A butterfly nectar feeder contains a bright yellow sponge that can be soaked in Sugar water or our feeder powder.You can also fill the pots with liquid nectar .Fix the feeder in a sunny location near to flowering plants to increase chances of attracting butterflies in to feed.

Recieved this yesterday, not hung it up yet. Looks very sturdy, and has great environmental credits. Comes with a packet of butterfly food you mix with water. You can also use a homemade sugar/water syrup. Another answer is to buy a bottle of Sugar Syrup meant for cocktails- so you'll find it with the alcohol in supermarkets- and use that.

No butterflies
Not attracted a single butterfly but the wasps liked it.

Arrived in several broken pieces. Very disappointed. Evidently extremely cheap construction.
