Great price for this value
Works pretty good for the money, they send adapters. When your comuputer doed not work with 3.5mm, you could use the adapter to work well. Great packaging when it came. I did not like my old one anymore, and found this one. It is within my price range. BUT, it Works great. Like it a lot. Such a nice microphone, especially for gaming or making vedio. It is light and easy to carry around. I really like it. Its the best microphone I've had so far. Other microphones sell for around $30.00, this one definitely works as well as those and is only about This price.

A great solution for video conferencing!
It delivers on everything I'd expect plus I was a bit concerned that the 3.5mm jack wasn't going to work based on some other reviews. It did which was ideal since I use a Plugable docking station that I plug my monitor into and the 3.5mm jack worked great with it to allow my laptop to remain closed while in my home office! It's great quality for the price that's for sure!

Great Sound Quality and Sturdy For The Price, But Rather Low Mic Sensitivity
I've bought this as a microphone for my 2nd workplace to have a microphone available there for chats or video production. Sound quality is absolutely great for this price range, but mic sensitivity is rather low. You will definitely need to have some kind of volume boost to work with it. Most programs have automatic volume correction (like Skype) and in video editors you can correct volume manually. Hence it was not a problem for me, but you have to know it.Build quality is also very good and I like the nice extra weight of the stand so it doesn't just flip over if you touch it by mistake. Super flexible goose neck is a really nice thing to bring the mic close to you and also looks very sturdy. Foam protection works very well against voice 'pop', so you don't need an extra pop filter. You can use it on PC, Mac or any phone with 3.5 mm or standard USB jack. There's no difference in sound quality if you connect with 3.5 mm or USB, but the USB dongle makes it very convenient if you don't have a 3.5 mm jack. But if you reached the limit of USB devices on your PC it's also very convenient to have 3.5 mm plug. It also provides an extra headset jack. The dongle is generic and hence you can use it with every 3.5 mm microphone and/or headset. That makes this set even more valuable.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!! WORTHLESS!!!
The advertisement calling this a "3.5mm Jack Condenser Desktop Microphone Compatible Computer" is absolutely FALSE! As the instructions state "Don't use this 3.5mm jack type to connect the MIC to your PC or Laptop". This microphone must be plugged into the USB module to work with a PC. The USB module is "fat" such that it will not fit next to the any other USB device on the back of a computer that has multiple USB slots next to each other. The instructions do not describe how to use USB module or microphone itself. This is the most useless microphone I've ever purchased for what I wanted and what the advertisement falsely claims.

Works well
Plugged into a desktop to be able to do online meetings on Teams, software installed automatically and worked immediately. For voices to be heard over Teams you have to plug the speakers into the USB as well (other sounds work through speakers when not plugged into USB but voices on Teams didn't). Works great for our purpose.

Does not work with Battlefield or Mass Effect games
Not sure what games this works with, but it certainly does not work with he games I play. When I set it up, the meter registers sound input (both with and without the USB adapter), sensitive enough to show the sound of me eating a tortilla chip with the mic 14 inches away. So it does work, just not with the game I play. The base is non-slip, however it is not non-tip, way too light weight. I have bought and return other mic's with a USB connection because they do not work with theses games. I do not know if it works with Skype or other on-line coms.

Build quality is high. Sent wrong brand. Get USB version: pick-up is better, LEDs around base work.
I bought a Xiaokoa here, but what arrived was branded Popu-Pine both on the base and all over the box, stating this is a "Popu-Pine RGB Colorful Multimedia Microphone," but it had two little Amazon stocking stickers on the box that said Xiaokoa. The instructions leaflet inside was branded Xiaokoa. Searching reveals the Xiaokoa is likely a re-branding of close-out stock from a discontinued Popu-Pine microphone, a company that also sells external phone speakers, earbuds, laptop coolers/radiators, novelty & gaming microphones, etc.The build quality is very high, I'll give 'em that. A heavy sturdy base with a small footprint. The gooseneck feels quite substantial. Not much plastic here, if any at all. There is (what looks to be) a little LED light above the on/off switch to indicate when the microphone is on. Guess what, it doesn't light up. UPDATE: I have received a message from the vendor regarding this: "It is a venting hole of the product molding model to prevent product deformation." Presumably venting the heat of the little sound card inside. There is a translucent white plastic lip that runs all the way around the top of the base of the microphone. According to the picture on the box, that should light up RGB. You can see that white lip in some of the photos uploaded by other buyers. Guess what, it doesn't light up. UPDATE: I have received a message from the vendor regarding this: "Our microphone is the most simple and elegant microphone and has no multi-colored lights." I actually took photos of the box before I returned this item. So I went back and looked more closely at them. The box markings on the bottom show this box was intended to be used to box the USB "CK" version (that DOES light up). They are apparently just using the same base cover plate for this 3.5mm as they do for the USB version. It's not a huge surprise that a 3.5mm stereo audio jack can't supply power to light this puppy up.There's a 3.5mm-to-USB splitter jack included, not described here. But buyers have uploaded photos of it. It's got two 3.5mm jacks, one for the microphone, one for a headset. The splitter has volume control rockers, microphone and headset mute rockers, red & green power LED indicators. That might come in handy when using this microphone with a laptop. But it would protrude about 2.5" out of the back of my desktop … and the controls back there would be useless.I tested the microphone with the USB splitter. No, it doesn't make the power LED or the RGB function work.As said by others, the microphone doesn't have a whole lot of pick-up. I had to set my audio driver to a 30% boost/gain to get it to pick-up a normal voice level at a distance of 24." The microphone built into my Logitech cam can do that without any boost/gain.In hindsight, it's not a huge surprise that a 3.5mm stereo audio jack can't supply power to provide any boost/gain this microphone, I suppose. The USB splitter does NOT improve the performance of this microphone. The instructions are worthless. No mention of the on/off LED or the RGB function at all. At one point the instructions say the microphone has the "ability to be used with any 3.5mm jack supported device." Two sentences later it says "don't use this 3.5mm jack to connect the microphone to your PC or laptop."UPDATE: I returned it and got the USB version. This time I got the correct brand, the Blue-LED lighting on the base DOES work, the pick-up on the microphone can be adjusted so as to be much better. I recommend buyers just go for the USB version.

It's a good Mic for the money
This microphone is a great value and super easy to set up. I opened the box, which included all of the essentials, and immediately plugged it in and the drivers automatically downloaded. I like the fact that the USB cable is extra long. There's a little instructional but it's really plug and play. No complaints and voice broadcasts well
