My dog is an Australian Shephard mix with Border Collie so we have to have her groomed every 6-8 weeks n the summer time so she stays cool. I was paying $65-75 a time. these clippers have been a game changer for me as i can now clip her myself and save that money for other things. She tolerated the noise much better than any pair of clippers i have bought before especially when I'm trimming behind her ears and around her mouth. The settings on the clippers are nice because I can change the cutting length quickly and without turning them on and off. The clippers come with a nice pair of scissors, a comb, brush and several cutting lengths for additional inches, and the bag is very convenient. They are very easy to clean, i had them on while trimming my dog. They also worked well on trimming my horses as well. I highly recommend these clippers if you want to save some money and do it yourself. It's so nice not having to worry about the battery like the cordless ones are. easier and more convenient.

These clippers are great. I have never used clippers before in my life. But these were super easy to use and figure out. I was scared I was going to cut my dog's skin, but after a few strokes, I realized it was all pretty safe.These are quiet and high quality. I love that they come with the shears. A very good value.Sometimes the shaver would kind of snag or get stuck which would cause my dog to try to run away. But that's because I didn't comb out her curls all the way. Not the fault of this product. My dog is part cocker spaniel and long hair dachshund so she has that long, wavy, super soft kind of fur that tangles up easily when it gets too long and greasy.I think with practice I could give my dog a very professional cut. This was my first time using clippers and my dog would not sit still, so I only achieved a partial cut. But I'm super happy even with my incomplete job!

So I was unable to get into a groomer because of the covide 19 lockdown in my state so I decided to purchase clippers and do a home cut on my 2 dogs one is a dashound sheltie mix the other border collie mix both have long hair. After searching the reviews I purchased these because if it can cut sheep fur I guess it was worth a shot. First tried with a guard on and snagged up figured I made a bad purchase but thought I'd try without a guard before retuning the clippers. Well I was able to get both dogs cut without a problem. Pretty short but I figure in a couple weeks they will be fine after all I'm no pro. Clippers are very quiet. I would recommend these clippers if your a beginner like me. At the price I paid I already paid for clippers but still hope my groomer is back to work soon but if not I've got my clippers as a backup.

I'm not a huge fan. I have a dog with poodle curls. It was constantly pulling her hair while cutting. I could only shave small sections at a time due to the blades not cutting smoothly. Once her hair was short, it worked okay.It also heats up like crazy while being used on both long hair and quick short trims. We have to be careful while using especially when shaving her belly area.I bought this hoping it would work better than my cordless razor due to the plug in power, but it is not the case.

These are the best pair of dog grooming clippers I have ever used, and I own many. I have a poodle mix who has some sort of hair growing super power, because if I don’t shave him every 2-3 weeks, even with daily brushing, he gets matted and looks like a derelict. ;). I save a premium grooming him myself, but it’s not the most pleasant job. I’ve implemented positive grooming techniques on him since he was a pup, so he tolerates the grooming pretty well, other than on his ticklish feet and legs, but I’m constantly breaking guards on his thick, curly coat or getting them caught, even when combing him and his undercoat well. I’ve only owned battery powered grooming kits so wasn’t sure what to think of the cord, but it’s been great and rarely gets in the way since it’s so long, and this thing powers through his thick coat like a beast. It is louder than my cordless razors, but my dog doesn’t seem to mind and of course we’re both thrilled that I’m now getting through the grooming session about 25% faster, and that his final haircut is a lot more even with this new set. With the extra time, we celebrated with a puppuccino! We’re both happy campers!

I have a poodle mix who doesn't shed. Great for allergies and pet hair not getting everywhere. Not so great for her if she's not groomed often. I have used other clippers which do work but what I love about this is that its cordless, does not overheat, and rattles so much less. It normally takes 2 of us to hold her. I was able to shave her entirely with zero help. Also, she gets mats around her eyes from tears and yuck that requires cutting the mat out or shaving. That close to her eye makes me so nervous and her too. She freaks out. I was able to shave these by her eyes with no problem. She was nervous but nothing like she is with other clippers. This was fully charged up when I started it. I used 40% of the charge to fully shave her entire body. That's impressive. And the stand means it won't just clutter up my counter or drawer.

I returned the shaver because the second time I used it, it overheated. The product is not dependable. Waste of money!This dog shaver is awesome product. Before I used my hir razor in trimming the hair of our puppies. I had the hard time doing it. Then, while searching for some items in amazon I saw this product. Not that expensive so I bought it and really amazed me. The dog shaver is totally working for dogs hair lol. We trimmed the hair of our puppies easily without getting them hurt or irritated. The product is nit that heavy so you will not be tired in carrying it for a long period of time. There are extra accessories to help you in trimming nicely. I highly recommend the product thats why I am giving a 5 start review for it.

Used these on my Labrodoodle who has very think hair, they worked great and with low noise he was a lot less nervous. Highly recommend.
