I bought these for tenants who had moisture-mold issues. The humidity monitors were reading above 60% in the house - especially in bathrooms and closets. If you have over 60% humidity, you can grow mold. We had mold in one of the closets there.So, bought this for the closet and it went down to the low 50's for humidity. We also adjusted the large dehumidifier in the basement to get results in the 50's and bought those bags with crystals which turn to water as they absorb humidity. The all out assault on the humidity worked because now ALL of the monitors read below 60% humidity and are in the low 50's. So mold shouldn't grow anywhere.They use this dehumidifier in the closet which showed mold. They says it's quiet and works well. They empty it about once a week they said.They like it so much, they bought another. They like the appearance, the quiet sound and the effectiveness.

i ordered this on 4th of Feb 2020 and i got it literally 2 days later, it seems impossible to me honestly. cause i'm not in the USA i'm actually in Bahrain which is in the middle east!!!anyway this item was amazing, i'm still using it. i emptied the tank once already, and i only had it running for about 5 daysmy room lost it damp smell, and i can feel the air dry. Bahrain is a very humid country all year long, and even though we are in somewhat a bit cooler weather, yet it is humid.i'm so happy with the performance of the device. i didn't even have to read the manual. i just plugged it in.my only comment, is i wish they included a plug converter because our sockets in Bahrain are different

The tank fills fast. This is good because it shows that it is working, but then it shuts off so you have to dump. We use ours on our sailboat when we leave it. The tank is full and the unit is off when we come back so we really only get partial benefit. It would be a nice improvement if there was a way to run a hose to the sink so it could drain uninterrupted.....just. A thought.

It was louder than I would have liked, and it had an annoyingly bright green LED light for no reason. Other than those issues, it worked fine for my bedroom. However, I ordered it January 2020, and it has now died January 11, 2021. It lasted approximately -one- year. And I only ran it overnight every night during the winter/cool months (I have high humidity in my apartment). So it didn’t even last two winters. Would suggest looking elsewhere.

I would highly recommend this product. Not noisy at all, can leave on with confidence. I used this at my bedside table in the summer months to take out extra water in the air. I was very surprised that initially after setting up with in 3 days it was full. Emptying is easy just remove the rubber plunge from the top of the tray and empty into sink. If you wanna be green use that to water your indoor plants. I loved the soft blue glow and the ease of it fitting on my night table. Great for asthma sufferers or allergy sufferers. I ordered one for all the bedrooms for the summer months. Highly recommend!

We've had this for over a year now and keep it in the bedroom. I still sometimes notice condensation on the windows after having it continuously running which is a bummer. We have a larger Honati that we run in the dining room and it fills up with water MUCH quicker than this smaller one. I think it's worth spending an extra $50 and getting a more efficient one.

We wanted something to take the moisture out of the air in a closet where we hang laundry to dry. This unit removes about a half cup of water in a day. It does automatically stop if the water reaches the max level. It makes a fan noise. We sleep with a fan so that noise does not bother us. One day I did not hear it and that was when I realized it had filled up and stopped because it was full. It is easy to empty and has been working for us for a few months non-stop. We are pleased with the purchase. It was smaller than I thought it would be but does a good job for the purpose we bought it for.

bought to dehumidify dorm room.You can't really tell from the picture, but it's about the size of a Harry Potter book. it's small. Does it work? surprisingly yes. My living area is noticably less damp and less smelly. Would i spend the money to buy one three times as large next time? also yes.This would definitely be great for a closet. A large room in a humid/rainy state though, may need to go bigger.has a bit of a hum, didn't notice it after the first day.

The unit is nice and small, which is good for placement in my bathroom. It is super quiet! The light encircling the power button does its job while not being intrusive or distractive like some other units with lots of lights. The end of the plug that goes into the unit itself is designed well, as it is recessed and secure, so you can worry less about water or moisture when using it in the bathroom. I removed one star because the power adapter wall plug is quite large, and makes it harder to plug into smaller spaces or bathroom outlets at are often located in tighter spaces.

This is quiet, easy to use, and works great!

Collects quite a lot of water from the bedroom air every day, can't say I feel a major difference in how the air feels but it looks like it works just fine. Maybe ideally you would need 2 machines in a larger bedroom.

Difficult to lift, has no handles. Very quiet for small spaces.

Slow but seem to work well
