Well designed, extremely comfortable sleep pad!
This will be my Sturgis 2020 camp pad. I tried it out the other day in the highlands of North Carolina I have to say this is the most comfortable sleep pad I have used. It packs down to a small size that easily fit into my saddle ba. The pillow and pad plus other items will fit into a saddle bag. Thank you MalloMe for coming out with a decent sleep pad!

Quality where it matters
I am doing this review as a comparison then a quick summary.Aside from this MalloMe sleep pad, I have had two others. One I pai $90 for from Galyans sporting goods, it was heavy and eventually came apart at the valve. I still have a Kelty sleep pad that was $60 so I will be comparing my MalloMe to the Kelty as they are comparable in price, though the MalloMe is only $50,Packaging:MalloMe: color matched bag, basic stitching simple drawstring design. Build is ok.Kelty: Heavier material, slightly better stitching and pocket for repair kit, etc.Sleep mat:MalloMe: soft top material, resiliant bottom material, pillowtop design with built in pillow and high quality inflation valve with brass parts.Kelty: rough fabric top layer, same resiliant bottom layer, flat design with no pillow or designated head or foot end. Plastic inflation valve.Comfort: I tested both pads side by side both on hardwood floor and outdoors on moderately bumpy ground. MalloMe, actually has a little spongy give and the material on the top feels nice if it comes in contact with your skin. The pillow is not too big at all but its big enough to help, a very nice addition. Not sure, but I think the pillow top design aids in making the pad feel softer while also keeping you cooler than the Kelty.Kelty: very basic flat design, compact but much more firm, felt like it had harder spots on my body, also gets hotter either due to the heavy guage material or the flat design, I even aired it down and it still felt more "Inflateable and firm" as opposed to the MalloMe which felt more in a mattress direction.Air valve: MalloMe: larger valve with plastuc shell over brass construction, lets more air in and out, looks well made. Glued into pad at "Foot". This keeps it awayfrom your head and face when sleeping.Kelty: Plastic valve, works fine but smaller with fewer inlet/outlets, makes inflation/deflation less efficient, plastic makes me question longevity and air tightness. I let both pads naturally decompress, MalloMe took 2 days, Kelty took 3 and its smaller.Stowability: MallowMe is wider than the Kelty when packed up by 3-4 inches but is very comparable in diameter. In spite of the additional width and length of the MalloMe it weighs in at 2 grams lower than the Kelty. MalloMe is much easier to pack up, I was able to deflate, roll and pack the MalloMe in 1:26 while the Kelty took me 3:31. Rolling the mats was comparable, but the MalloMe bag is much more appropriately sized and even once I got the Kelty packed it was not perfect.Price:MalloMe:$49Kelty: $69Summary: Against a top brand like Kelty the MalloMe is a great deal at $20 less you get more sleeping surface, an included pillow that cant get lost or separated, a rugged bottom for rough ground but nice upper fabric to baby you when your roughing it. You also get a brass air valve with better inflation/deflation capability. The bag is of thinner material and extremely basic, but the sleep pad is great, and that is what matters.Customer service, while I cannot speak for Kelty one way or tge other, Its worth noting that MalloMe is very customer focused as I have dealt with them on other products. I am excited to see they make more than just amazing stainless tumblers, I will be checking them in the future for any other outdoor needs I have.

Out of 5 brands the most comfortable.
We have bought several types of pads for different reasons. This pad is a full rectangle so you don't feel like you are going to fall off or end up with your arms hanging over the edge. It seems to feel better to lay on as well. The con is that it is heavier so would not be good for packpacking if you are already running heavy. There is also as of the last time I looked no listing for R-Value so I have no idea if this is good for all seasons. For quick camp summer camping that I am not using an air bed for this one will be my choice.

Great price! Good product!
I am always happy when MalloMe comes out with new products. They are well made and good quality. The sleeping pad was offered to me at a full rebate to try. Of course I was excited to try it and add another great item to my camping gear. I have never had a self-inflating mat. I have always wanted one because I have heard how great they are. The one suggestion I have is to have better instructions. It was not just as simple as unrolling it and letting it self inflate. The first time, you need to help it along by pumping air into it. After that it worked fine. It feel great to lay on and would be good for camping. I love that it is easy to roll up, put the straps on and then put it in the carry bag. The price for this product is great as I have seen other similar products being sold for much more. I highly recommend this!

Comfortable and lightweight!
-Lightweight-Easy to inflate-Comfortable-Easy to store-Durable-PriceI’m 5’9, and 160 lbs, and I found the MalloMe sleeping pad held my weight well while evenly distributing the pressure around my back. The memory foam core really makes a big difference in the way the pad feels when sleeping. It self-inflated well, and I added 7-8 breaths to inflate the pad to its stiffest before letting a tiny bit of air out to suit my comfort level. I like the “solid” feel of the pad, pervious pads I have had issues with the “bubble effect” as the air in moves and sinks as weight is put on it and I sink into the pad. I found I you can blow more air into the valve if you pull the valve lid forward (once unscrewed) and press it backward to slow the airflow back out between breaths during inflation.I’m happy with the quality of this sleeping pad. I have purchased several pieces of gear from MalloMe over the years, and they have always held up well.

Easy to use...and comfortable too.
This mattress pad is very lightweight and easy to inflate/deflate. I just unrolled it, opened the valve, and let it fill up. The first time took a few minutes because it was completely flat from shipping. I did add a little bit of air by blowing in the valve to give it a bit of extra firmness. I was able to sleep very well along with using the MallowMe inflatable pillow which complements the sleeping pad.Don't hesitate to purchase from this company, MallowMe.

Lightweight and durable
Again Mallome provides a great product. I’ve done a good bit of camping, and sometimes the ground can leave me feeling a bit stiff. A good mat is a huge benefit when the ground is hard or cold. What makes this one stand out from the rest is that it is self-inflating. A durable valve is in one bottom corner which allows some air to enter. You can add more air by blowing into it adjusting to your preference. When rolling it back up, the valve can be tightened such that no air enters, thus making it much less bulky. As with the hammocks the sell, the mat comes with a drawstring bag keeping it protected. This will definitely be a product I will be using multiple times!
