This is a good product apart from the Wi-Fi which would not connect to our bt router and this was the replacement product first sent back for the same reason

The offer here seems irresistible: a full and integrated micro system, including internet radio, with reasonable sound quality in an attractive enough package. When it works, it was pretty good but the reality is of a pretty clunky and somewhat unpredictable operating system on reasonable hardware. Connecting to Wifi required many attempts, but when established was pretty reliable. But overall, the software was quirky - eg losing presets, not connecting to remote devices randomly - and the volume control led to coarse increases in volume, preventing finding the perfect level.We persevered, but ultimately the system failed after 3-4 months - turning on, but not connecting to any radio stations (DAB/internet), refusing to eject or play a CD, not connecting to Bluetooth. My best guess is that the unit had attempted a firmware update or downgrade and failed, but who knows? The Majority support offered nothing other than "return it to Amazon", and (under duress) some tips involving Sellotape for removing the unejectable CD. Surely, I asked, it's possible to manually update the firmware? No response.The increase in price by about £25 means, although refunded, I had to think carefully about buying a replacement so I decided against it. Looking around, this is in fact a commodity hardware and software platform offered by many resellers, some with identical device exteriors, some with controls in different positions and some companies with flashier websites.
