Attractive and substantial
Looks far more substantial than it is (in a good way). Easy to move around the garden, but still stable enough even without filling the pedestal with anything. Very pleased with it

Great addition to my garden
The appearance, size, colour, sturdiness all good. I used sand in the pillar when putting it together. It has been much admired and I am so glad I decided to buy one.

Make sure you have a bag of gravel if you are planning on using the taller bird bath.
All in all it looks great and is one of the cheeper bird baths for its size. You will need some gravel or something to fill the long column if you are using it as the taller bird bath. It will tip if you don't.So there are a couple of negative things, when it came the long column is made of two parts and had three screws holding it together but the srews were not actually holding. I dont know if they had been overly tightened and was no longer biting into the plastic or if it was just knocked in transit and the screws just pulled out. I resolved this by using some metal plaster board fixings and screwd them in to the existing holes created by the screws previously and this made for a much better anchor for the screws than the plastic alone. I MAY HAVE BEEN UNLUCKY ON THIS ONE.The next issue is it is extremely lightweight and a little top heavy and tips over very easily the instructions say to fill it with stones to overcome this but even after filling it with stone (I used slate chips as thats what I had covering the boarder of my garden) it still tipted over when a wood pigeon landed on the edge of it. The bit you fill with stones starts about 4 inches of the ground and the base that sits on the ground is small in diameter compared to the bath so it makes it a bit unstable. I got around this by attaching some old dumbbell weights to the underside of the base with some wire. This moved the centre of mass a lot lower and made it a lot more stable. It may have worked beter if I filled the long column with gravel initially but I didn't have any so used what I had to hand.

LOVE IT
Put some stones in the pedestal as per instructions and quick assembly - all done in 5 minutes (although getting the ground level took a bit more effort). Use it with a solar pump which makes a small fountain, added some large stones so not too deep and hey presto an instant hit with the birds. Only problem is that the birds do poop in the water so I find myself having to empty and clean everything every 2 or 3 days but this is no effort as the top easily twists off and is lightweight. My neighbours have a concrete bird bath which looks heavy so they have to stand in situ with a scrubbing brush but I just take the top of, go indoors and wash everything then reassemble in a jiffy. I was worried it might look a bit cheap and plasticky but it really doesn't and because it's man-made it should last. In fact I like it so much that I have just taken delivery of another one for the back garden.

Bit disappointed
Personal preference, but I was a bit disappointed when I unpacked the bird bath. I guess I should have taken more notice of the materials used/pattern etc. I felt it a tad expensive for the product. It also seems just a bit deep for the smaller birds, so have only filled it a little way and put some stones in it.Having said that, have put it out and the birds are using it so it is doing its job.

Looks good now just waiting for birds.
Easy to assemble, looks good and I really like it, just waiting for the birds to concur.

Does the job...but
The bird bath looks ok. Not too plastic'y' or cheap looking. It was easy to put together and it's a nice size. The tall stand is hollow to put in ballast/stones etc to weight it down, though you have turn it upside down to put them in so it could get quite difficult and heavy to turn upright again for some people.I obviously haven't put enough weight in it as it was knocked over this morning....Either that or we have some very heavy birds around here. The basin has a screw turn to attach to the stand but this is totally inadequate. You cannot tighten it as it just overturns and 'unscrews' itself. So I think I am going to use some silicone to glue it together. All in all it's OK. For the price.
