Unclear instructions, but good results
I have pretty straight eyelashes, and curling them is one of the longest parts of my makeup routine. I bought this kit to use before a vacation, so that I could save prep time in the mornings and so I'd have curled lashes even when in the pool.I once read a suggestion to curl the eyelashes prior to doing this, so that they are already curled in the direction of the pads and would be easier to stick on. I did a slight curl on them, and it actually made it more difficult to stick the pads to my eyelids without trapping lashes beneath them; I'm undecided about whether I'd do the pre-curl again, as it did slightly help sticking the lashes to the pad.The lower lash cover things are useless; I tried and tried to get one to work, but it kept slipping up INTO my eye, so I threw it out and just used tape across my lower lashes. Much better. It's still not comfortable, but it does the job.On my first eye, some of the lashes came unglued when I put on the perm solution. I tried sticking them back on and hoped that putting cling wrap over them would hold the curl, but they didn't stay put. After finishing the perm step, I applied more glue and stuck those lashes back. They came back off once I applied the next solution. I used more glue for the second eye, and a few short lashes popped out, but it was much better overall. (I will not use cling wrap next time I do this; it wasn't necessary and seems unsafe.)On my first eye, I used the M1 pad because it seemed right when I tried them on and spread my lashes up over each of the sizes, and I had read over and over about people choosing too small of a pad and ending up with freakishly-curled lashes, so I erred on the side of caution. It initially appeared that I did not get enough curl on that eye, so I used the M (smaller) pad on the second eye and got more curl. I have come to decide that the M1 actually WAS the better option for me, as on the second eye, some of my lashes in the middle curled up too much. I will use M1 on both eyes next time.On one eye, the fixing solution and the tint both gave me tiny tingles, ALMOST burning, just for a little while. Each time, I used a small implement to wipe away some of the solution from the base of my lashes where the tingle started, and all was good. There was never any full-blown burning at any step.I tried very hard not to get any solution on my skin, especially the tint, but I did get a tiny bit on my eyelid of one eye. I wish I had put tape along the bottom of my eyelid, under the curling pad.I wasn't entirely clear about which brushes/ swabs/ whatever to use for each step. On my first eye, I used the tiny stick things for perm and fixing steps, but then I switched to a stick with a larger sponge part on the end to apply the tint. I used that same kind of tool for the perm and fix steps of the second eye, then used the tiny stick to apply the tint that time. I'm still unsure about which was the proper tool for each step. The directions were lacking in this aspect, as they were in general. They even give two different instructions on using the tint: On the box that the tint materials came in, the instructions there say to mix the ingredients and then let them sit for 10-12 minutes before applying. In the instruction manual, it says to mix the tint for 3 mins until it turns black-brown (never happened; it turns light brown). I wasn't sure which to follow, so I mixed for 3 minutes or so and then waited a few minutes before applying. The tint never showed darker than a medium brown, even after sitting on my lashes for 15 minutes, but it seems to have darkened the lashes some. I wasn't expecting much from the tint, since my lashes are dark already, but I figured I'd try it out just to see what it might look like.Without having watched a few YouTube videos about using a kit like this, I'd have been pretty lost from the instructions. I'm glad that I had YouTube as a resource, as it gave me more assurance in what I was doing. The day I used this kit, I was underwhelmed with the results. However, in the following days and now two weeks later, I have been thrilled with my curled lashes. Somehow, after using this kit, my lashes actually curl MORE when I apply mascara instead of flattening out under the weight of it. And I only have to do one coat of mascara. This has saved me so much time in daily makeup application, and I plan to use this kit regularly going forward.

Thanks for the speedy replacement!
First package I got was opened and clearly used. The plastic was removed off the box, one bottle of the product was half full and ALOT of the items were missing! Luckily I was able to order a replacement and the new one came completely sealed and brand new! Thank you for the speedy replacement! I would never use product on myself that someone else used on their face!Edit* I tried the product finally and it seemed to work just fine. Didn’t cause any eye irritation, though I imagine it would if you got it in your eyes. The tint came out nice and black as I expected, and the product was nice and thick and consistent, not watery and unusable! I wish it didn’t smell like an actual perm, but hey… it’s a perm so what did I expect? lol. Hope it lasts long enough to make it to 4-6 weeks for the next lift!

Over Curled Result? Read how I relaxed it with this same kit
I used this kit (using the size "S" pad) and it resulted in a very tight curl that curled backwards into my eyelid. It looked terrible, not to mention if you plan to put on eyeliner and wear mascara, this overcurled result will make life harder for your daily routine.So...I hated it at first, but then I waited a week and did the following to fix it and watching videos on people who did this exact kit and then had the same result. If your eyelashes are in ok condition and not split at the ends you can try this:I did one eye first with this next shortened procedure. This procedure skips the pink eyepads and the glue (the most time consuming part of doing it the first time in my opinion).I used a magnifying mirror (which is a must to see what you are doing). And I was sitting down in a chair. This helped me be calm and not get product all over. I would read all of the below first before you decide to do this "fix".1: Cleanse the eyelid area and lashes using micellar water (the one with the green lid) on a cotton pad. (I ran out of the cleaner that came with the kit).2: Using the white sticky pads that come in the gold pouch, tear open the pouch and remove the back of the sticky pad and place on your lower lash line so you don't get any of the #1 perm and #2 fixation product on those areas. If you don't do this you could get product on your skin. If so, wipe it off immediately from your skin or you'll be sorry because it will burn later on.3: On a very small clean spoolie put some #1 perm solution on the spoolie and then brush your upper lashes downward for about 30 seconds to 1 minute only. (I dipped it in the bottle but that's pretty wasteful so you can just use the little q tips to apply it to the spoolie). keep brushing your lashes downward for 30 seconds to 1 minute only. Remember we want to relax the curl, not make your lashes completely straight.4: Use Micellar water again to clean off #1 perm solution from your lashes.5: On a different clean spoolie put some #2 Fixation solution on the spoolie and then brush your lashes downward for about 30 seconds to 1 minute only.6: Use Micellar water on a cotton pad to now clean off your eyelid and lashes again. If you see any kind of white residue on your face, remove it immediately or you will feel a slight burning sensation hours later.7: Use the included oil to nourish your lashes by either putting it on a clean finger or put it on a clean spoolie then brush it through your lashes. If you run out of the included oil, you can also use Castor Oil. Its very important to keep the lashes moisturized daily and nightly after this to prevent future fallout. You should try not to get the lashes wet for the next 24 hours so they can "set". Since my lashes are already black I did not use the dye kit that came with this. Now you can repeat this procedure on your other eye.Update: It has now been 24 hours since I did this 2nd procedure and I am so much happier now that my lashes no longer curl backwards into my eyelids.I hope this fix helps you. If I ever decide to do this kit again I would only use the size L pad, not the S pad, and I would not leave the solution on as long as I did the first time, and I wouldn't put the solution at the tip of the lashes which is also why I had to re-do it...(The solution was on way too long and pad I used was way too small the first time).Thank you!
