Welp, it does what it suppose to do very well. All pieces there, meaning no missing parts. well made and pretty sturdy. however, I did receive a used one as packaging the pieces came in were already cut open. but because of no missing parts or being broken, I decided to keep it. That being said..... I would like to know what the heck is going on with Amazon as of late, tons of reviews about people paying for "new" and getting already used/returned stuff. Seems like Amazon is going down hill and only picking up speed. Use to be a great site. Someone is NOT PAYING ATTENTION!! HINT!! HINT!! :(

I really loved this at first but after one use we found a loose screw sitting underneath and the plastic protector that goes over one of the cog wheels is loose. There is no way to screw it back in without removing plastic cap that the cone sets on. We don't know if this is removable so we don't want to force it and break it. No instructions came with the item. Returning item.

I read lots of reviews on jumbo yarn winders. Most only did up to 10oz and that was pushing it. I wanted this one for the larger capacity. It was just delivered today. It took literally minutes to assemble and get to work. After winding about 20 skeins of all sizes I decided to push the limits and see how far I could go. A whole lb done! This thing is awesome!

Finally a Winder that can handle full hanks!!! Used with super bulky and worsted so far. Absolutely in love. Should have bought this years ago. Hated breaking my cakes up, and now don't have to!!
