I got this cassette tape adapter for my dad, his radio in his vehicle doesn't have a CD player or AUX in, just the cassette player. He really likes it! He says the sound is smooth, no weird crackling like other cassette tape adapters. We're both really pleased with it! Now he can listen to his music without having to spend a ton on a whole new radio, which is great because he really likes the radio in his vehicle and doesn't like having to change. The cable is long enough that he doesn't have to worry about balancing his MP3 anywhere, he can just set it down in the cup holder or the seat next to him and doesn't have to worry about it falling and breaking!

Sure, it may deliver audio from your 3.5mm TRS output to your car's tape deck, but the audio may be less than desirable.The product looks about how you'd expect for a Chinese generic "here's a thing that works I guess" product. The lead from the tape adapter is tiny and flimsy, and the plug on the end is comically large in comparison, the shiny bit just being some metallic plastic covering the rest of an unnecessarily large plug.I had an adapter cheaper than this one whose cable developed an intermittent short in the right-hand channel, and sought to replace it with one of the hopefully-better-made adapters on Amazon like this one. However, I was absolutely shocked to hear some of the worst, most colored audio transmission I've heard in an adapter like this. With noise reduction turned OFF, it sounded as though all the highs were shelved off, and a 3 dB boost had been centered on 2.5 kHz. Not pleasant to listen to and completely misrepresents any detail in the high end of the music you're trying to listen to. Until I can find a better, less horrible replacement, I'll be using my old broken adapter.In summary, it technically works. It just sounds awful while doing so. Try another product.

Bought for my husband's car and he says the music quality is superior to any of the other ones that he purchased locally that kept breaking. Not sure how long it will last in comparison to the other ones, but so far it certainly has a leg up.

I just received this yesterday and tried it out today 2/23/18 for the first time. I have a 2005 BMW X5 that does not have an aux jack installed to play music off my phone. I do still have a cassette deck underneath the NAV screen. I have tried Bluetooth cassette and that was garbage, sound was horrible. I have purchased various other brands of cassette adapters that I have found in local dollar type stores and none of them would give me stereo sound, all would just come out of one side of system. Finally!!! I have found this one. True stereo sound, no hissing/popping noises from music. I did have to adjust bass and treble settings on radio between using the adapter and playing FM/CD's but talking seconds to change so no big deal. Would give it 5 stars but being I have only used it less than a day want to see how it holds up over time but off to a great start!!

I'm not sure why I purchased the Reshow Cassette adapter just to save a few dollars over the Sony original. I have owned the Sony cassette adapter model CPA-9C for over 10 years and it still works great.However, I got tired of forgetting to move it from one vehicle to the other so based on the good reviews (and cheaper price) I purchased the Reshow.The Reshow's output is very muted and it also fades in and out; I inserted the Sony CPA-9C and got very loud sound and no fading. This is the first cassette adapter I've used so I can't compare it to others... I bought it because of the great reviews.There is static and it randomly ejects when it first put it in for the first few minutes. After that it seems to be ok. Not sure why it does that but it'll be like, mid-song and just randomly stops, then ejects...maybe I just got a defective one???Not sure but if this is supposed to be good quality than I'd hate to see the bad quality ones. May try a replacement and see how that goes... Will update review at a later time.

This cassette adapter is just not worth it. I bought two - one that rattled horribly, and one that only played sound out of the right side of my car. In the end, I just returned them and got a functioning one from Best Buy.The first one came in alright and played the sound from my iPhone just fine. The only problem was that it rattled like a chilly skeleton. So I got some grease to lubricate it but... well... I left it outside to air out the smell and it rained... so that one was a bust.I thought “hey the only problem was that it rattled” so I just ordered another one from this listing. But it turns out that these adapters aren’t made consistently enough, because when I plugged in this second one, sound only came from one half of my car speakers.Given the inconsistency in the manufacturing of this adapter, I overall don’t recommend it.

What a disappointing waste of money. Save yourself the trouble and don’t waste your time and money on this inferior junk. I got this to replace my old and frayed Cassette to Aux adapter but now it’s even worse. This part looked very nice out of the box but that’s about where the good ends. When I plugged it in and heard audio for the first time I thought that maybe I didn’t have the aux cord fully plugged into my phone because it sounded terrible! The comes out noticeably louder on the left side speakers and the actual sound coming out sounds dulled and low quality. Through this device, my audio sounds like I’m listening to the music from another car and only from the left side. I’d rather listen to silence than this piece of trash.
