Best purchase in years
I got a golden doodle in November and from having a shih-tzu before I know how expensive grooming is. So I wanted to give this a shot. I have to trim my pup every 3 weeks because her hair grows so fast and we live in AZ - so the devil’s bumhole. It’s SO easy to use and the cleanup is minimal since it vacuums as it shaves. The only semi negative thing is the amount of fur my dog has, fills up the chamber pretty quick. I have to empty it 3-4x during a shave. But it is so worth it not to have to take her to the groomers every few weeks and spend $80 each time. I even turned a water softener salesman onto this product!

First time user and happy with it.
We have an AussieDoodle with thick hair. He is kind of scared of noises. I trimmed him for the first time and he stood still and was not scared of the noise which is actually pretty quiet on the first setting. I filled the cup up with lots of hair and the vacuum still worked well. I won't say he looks great, I need practice. But the machine worked very well and it is quiet. It will take a couple of times for me to get better but the good thing is his hair will grow back. It was easy to clean afterward. Get one and save money.

Everyone with a dog that gets a regular grooming should purchase this today
This grooming kit is amazing. I have a Yorkie and usually bring him to a groomer just to get all of his hair cut off. This runs me $60 every time. I purchased this and it is so easy to us and has paid for itself in just 2 hair cuts. It even gets between the pads of his paws and trims around his ears and on the inside surface of his ears. The only thing that is not up to par is the nail trimmer sander. It does not have enough grit so I have to clip my dogs nails separately. The vacuum is fairly quiet even on the highest setting and the clippers last the whole time without needing to be recharged even with the fine tune trimming. I would highly recommend this to everyone who has a dog that they take to the groomer for just a regular hair cut with no special cuts.Buy this today if this is you.

Please be mindful when using.
The **Afloia Dog Grooming Kit**, with its vacuum and grooming tools, is a convenient all-in-one solution for home grooming, offering tools like **dog clippers, a nail grinder, trimmer, shedding brush**, and a **low-noise vacuum**. However, based on my experience, there are a few key considerations when using it, particularly with cats or when dealing with fur that has debris or tangles. Here’s a detailed review, along with tips on cleaning, and challenges specific to cats and grooming pets with objects in their fur.### **Design and Build**The **Afloia Dog Grooming Kit** is compact and comes with sturdy attachments for a variety of grooming tasks. The kit includes clippers, a shedding brush, a nail grinder, and a trimmer, all of which attach to a **low-noise vacuum** that collects fur as you groom. The build quality is solid, and the attachments are easy to swap out, making grooming sessions smoother.### **Grooming Tools**- **Dog Clippers and Trimmer**: The clippers are efficient for trimming both long and short fur, but there’s one important caveat—**they can struggle with foreign objects or debris in the fur**. If your dog or cat has small items like burrs, twigs, or mats in their coat, the clippers tend to snag or stall. It’s essential to **brush and clean your pet’s fur** before using the clippers to avoid this issue and prevent damage to the clipper blades.- **Nail Grinder**: This gentle tool works well for smoothing nails after trimming. It’s quieter than traditional nail clippers, which can be stressful for pets, but you still need to approach slowly to get your pet comfortable with the sensation.- **Brush for Shedding**: The shedding brush does an excellent job of pulling out loose fur, particularly during shedding season. The added benefit of the vacuum is that it minimizes mess by collecting the fur right away.- **Low Noise Vacuum**: The vacuum is **low-noise**, making it less intimidating for pets who are scared of loud noises. It’s effective at collecting fur, though it might not have the power to pull in all the hair from thicker or denser coats on the first pass.### **Challenges with Cats**Grooming **cats** with the Afloia kit presents its own set of challenges:- **Anxiety**: Cats tend to be more sensitive to grooming, especially when it involves a vacuum, even a quiet one like this. While the vacuum is low-noise, it may still cause stress, so it’s crucial to introduce the tool gradually. Start by letting your cat get used to the sound from a distance before attempting to groom them.- **Sensitive Areas**: Cats are more prone to discomfort when grooming sensitive areas like their belly, legs, and tail. The clippers and brush may be effective for larger, calmer cats, but you may have difficulty using the attachments on smaller or more anxious cats.- **Patience Required**: You’ll likely need to break up grooming sessions into shorter intervals with cats, especially if they’re not accustomed to being groomed. Additionally, using the shedding brush on long-haired cats may require more care to avoid pulling at tangles.### **Performance**The **vacuum suction** is strong enough to pick up most loose fur, though for pets with very dense fur (especially certain dog breeds), you may need to brush over the area multiple times to get all the loose hair. It’s particularly useful for cleaning up shedding fur, which can otherwise spread around the house. The clippers and trimmer work smoothly as long as the fur is **clean and free from debris**.### **Cleaning Tips**To keep the Afloia kit functioning properly and to maintain hygiene, regular cleaning is important. Here are some useful tips:1. **Clean the Fur Before Trimming**: If your pet has any **foreign objects** in their fur—such as burrs, dirt, or twigs—it’s crucial to remove them before using the clippers. This will prevent snagging and keep the blades sharp and functioning smoothly. A quick brushing or combing session beforehand will help clear out any debris.2. **Regularly Empty the Vacuum Container**: The vacuum container fills up quickly, especially if your pet sheds a lot. Be sure to empty it after each session to maintain suction power.3. **Clipper and Trimmer Maintenance**: Remove fur stuck in the clippers and trimmers after each use to prevent them from clogging. Use the included cleaning brush or a small toothbrush to clean the blades and keep them sharp.4. **Nail Grinder Cleaning**: Nail dust and debris can build up on the grinder, so wipe it down after each use to ensure smooth operation.5. **Filter Cleaning**: Check and clean the vacuum’s filter regularly to prevent clogging and maintain proper airflow.### **Challenges**- **Struggles with Foreign Objects**: The clippers work well on clean, smooth fur, but they can snag or struggle if the fur contains burrs, dirt, or mats. Make sure to thoroughly **brush and clean your pet’s coat** before using the clippers to prevent this.- **Vacuum Power for Thick Fur**: The vacuum’s suction is sufficient for most cases, but it may not have the power to pick up all the loose fur from dogs or cats with very thick coats. You may need to go over certain areas multiple times or do some manual cleaning afterward.- **Pet Anxiety**: Some pets, especially cats, may still be intimidated by the vacuum’s sound. Introducing the vacuum gradually and keeping grooming sessions short at first can help reduce stress.### **Pros**- **Low-noise vacuum**: Great for dogs and cats sensitive to loud noises.- **Versatile attachments**: Shedding brush, nail grinder, clippers, and trimmer included for a full grooming session.- **Reduces mess**: The vacuum collects fur while grooming, making clean-up easier.- **Efficient grooming**: Saves time by combining grooming and fur collection in one tool.### **Cons**- **Snags on debris**: The clippers can struggle with fur that contains small objects, so it’s important to clean your pet’s coat first.- **Thick coats**: The vacuum may not pick up all loose fur from pets with thick or dense coats.- **Pet anxiety, especially in cats**: Cats may be more sensitive to the vacuum noise or grooming process in general.### **Final Thoughts**The **Afloia Dog Grooming Kit** offers a convenient solution for grooming pets at home, combining clippers, a nail grinder, and a vacuum in one kit. While it’s generally effective, the clippers may struggle if your pet’s fur contains foreign objects, so a pre-grooming brush is important. Cats can also be more challenging to groom, but with patience and gradual introduction, the kit can still be useful. Overall, it’s a solid grooming system that helps reduce mess and makes home grooming more efficient, especially if you clean your pet’s fur and work with them slowly.

Highly recommend
This pet grooming vacuum brush works great! I really like that it has multiple suction modes—it’s perfect for using the lowest setting on my more skittish dog, while the higher suction works well on my hairier dog who’s not bothered by the noise. I also love that it comes with different attachments, which let me trim and groom while the vacuum sucks up the loose hair at the same time. It makes the whole process so much easier and way less messy.

Vaccuum that the dog doesn’t mind
I rarely write reviews, but this thing is awesome. The puppy doesn’t mind the noise. I use it on the lowest setting for her. I can’t get the nail file to be very effective, but the clippers with the vacuum attached are great. I trim her hair once a week to keep it under control and easy. I just watched a bunch of YouTube videos for tips. I use the shorter guard for her face and chin hair. I’ll still go to the groomer occasionally but far less.I even use it to cut my boys’ hair. I use the clippers and guards to get close and finish the boys’ hair with the regular clippers. The mess is a fraction of what it used to be.
