Wildlife World Butterfly Feeder, BFE

It’s a thumbs up from me. Having read the reviews I was a little sceptical about the sponge part of the feeder, and have to agree it does dry out quite quickly, but the little cups are brilliant. I have used them a couple of times to place tired bees I have found in the garden, but this little bee stopped by for some refreshments all on its own. I would recommend the item for this feature alone as it’s a handy spot to place tired bees you find in the garden. I used sugar water in the cups and on the sponge, it was lovely to see this bee making use of the facilities and then flying away.The feeder itself is well made and I feel value for money. Better get the cups topped up with some more sugar water 👍

Easy to use, looks nice in garden, hoping for small visitors to garden once warmer weather arrives

I bought this towards the end of summer so there was still plenty in the garden for the bees and butterflies. I did put sugar liquid in the pots but the only things that came to it were ants! I like watching the ants so not too disappointed but as the flowers start to die off I shall fill it for any hungry bees and butterflies that need it. It look nice, well made and easy to clean.

It was sturdy and very pretty, the sponge didn't really absorb the sugar water and the little it did, did not attract any insects.

It arrived on time. But I have to say that it is of poor quality. The feeding station is a decorators mini roller. This would be fine except it has no real absorption qualities, so it is dry within minutes. I certainly wouldn't buy again.

Fantastic little addition to the garden for helping the butterflies

This is a cute idea, but it does not work. After several days of trying it out, the butterflies in my garden have shown ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST IN IT WHATSOEVER. Do something more worthwhile and put some flowers out. Millions of years of evolution have shown that this works. There is NO NEED for this artificial intervention, which is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

This is cute. It’s perfect in a small area but the sponge was missing and wondering where I can get one at. Anyone have any ideas??

queda muy bonita la hemos tenido todo el verano pero la verdad sq no hemos visto que venga ningun insecto, hay muchas mariposas por la zona, mariquitas.. pq tenemos plantas q las atraen bastante pero nunca las he visto por aqui, quizas no hemos encontrado el producto apropiado todavia, hemos probado agua con azucar, agua con miel, zumo de mandarina... seguiremos insistiendo

Cheap. Idea is good, but does not work well. More of a decoration in the garden.
