Quality minis, no instructions provided
I was using these models as proxies for Star Wars Legion miniatures. They are slightly shorter than legion figures, but can be adjusted for height with modifications to basing (the rightmost figure is a legion mini, just for comparison. The two left figures were made from this GCPS kit). As you can see in photo, they are good looking models, with lots of extra head and arm attachment options. Would have rated 5/5, but the models do not come with any instructions about how to put together the machine gun / mortar options. But in terms of cost per mini (less than $2) they are fantastic!

Great Value, great models
I've watched a few games of Deadzone on YouTube, and I really liked the models, but I primarily purchased this to expand my Warhammer Imperial Guard army. This box comes with a lot of stuff. One general, 20 soldiers that can be built as standard or elite troops, two heavy weapons teams, and an engineer. Most of the parts are a nice hard plastic, except the general, the heavy weapons, and some of the upgrade parts for the engineer and the soldiers operating the heavy weapons. I just finished building them, and they look great. Definitely usable in any sci-fi miniatures game that uses 28mm models. I'm definitely going to look into more Mantic products.

It can be used for any generic sci-fi setting as well. I use these in multiple games.
They are great for miniature agnostic (Generic) games.

Good miniature set
I purchased this set for use in Warhammer 40K. To get a different look in the mix. Per some of the other reviews. The scale is 28mm(from the base of the model, to the eyes-they measure 28mm) but they are not a perfect match with 40k figs. They still work. I mostly noticed that the scale of the hands was very different. It's noticable wile assembling, and trying to cross model bits. Painted and in play, it's not noticeable.

Fantastic quality miniatures
A great set of high quality miniatures that are a mix of both hard plastic and metal. In the box you'll receive five identical plastic sprues for assembling the Troopers/Rangers, a metal Leader figure and corresponding parts, metal components for assembling two mortar or two machine gun teams, and corresponding bases for all the miniatures. The plastic and metal are high quality materials that are easily manipulated, and the look of the miniatures themselves are fantastic. Shipping was fast and easy, no complaints there. The only complaint I would have is that the torso and leg components are a little fiddly to put together, but it's nothing major.Great product, would consider buying again or getting the booster pack.

Typical classic Mantic - more options than you can beat with a big stick.
Almost perfect moulding, with very little extra work cleaning or filing. Beautifully detailed as always, and lots of options with the figures. Multiple gun selections, various heads and enough choice to make this a unique and attractive game piece. These are fine detailed miniatures so you will need patience to paint them as there is a lot of repetition in the figures. Well, there are only so many ways to portray ballistic armour I suppose. They are not all the same though, so don't be put off by my comment. There's enough variation to keep even an avid painter working for hours. The weapons are also finely detailed, so lots of things to pick out on these. The heavy weapon options are some sort of auto cannon or mortar. You get two of each, but only enough to make two heavy weapons. So one mortar and cannon, or two the same. If you want to vary it, you will either need to buy an expansion set or scratch build you're own stands. The cannon sits on a tripod which is assembled from two pieces. The front bipod piece is also the bipod for the mortar. It would have been nice if they had included enough parts to make all four heavy weapons, but whatever. It's a small challenge to make your own. I would suggest if you go this route, to make up the tripods for the cannon, as building a bipod for the mortars is much easier. The other downside is that there is only one sitting figure for the cannon. While you can easily make another gun team, you can only have one sitting operator. That kinda sucks to be honest. Again, though, with a little creativity and some scratch building and judicious use of miliput you can make another if you want.Aside from those little irritations this is a great set and fits into pretty much any Science Fiction game. There are a lot of small parts so this really is not suitable for very young people. You also need patience and a small amount of modelling experience to assemble the figures. Hard plastic that works fine with polystyrene cement, although I would suggest you get a glue with a narrow aperture applicator, or have a pile of cocktail sticks or toothpicks to hand.

Excellent Models
Great models really nice quality. One thing to check which I didn't. Check the sprues as each arm has a matching letter. So you know what left arm matches what right arm you are using! But other than my own stupidity they are awesome bits of kit
