This product was not completely thought out.My 6 year old grandson is very mechanical at this young age, and he just about gave up in the middle of the second project.The problems:The plastic bolts and nuts will not stay tight , so the project is falling apart before you can go to the next step.If they would have made the bolts a bit longer and included lock washers - this would solve the issue entirely.There is one wrench so you have to hold the nut on the back with your fingers and turn the wrench with the other hand.The kids just don't have that kind of grip to hold the nut and at the same time turn the wrench.Another socket type wrench would have made this work just fine.The instructions are just one photo with one rear close up for each project.This is very frustrating for the young one who is trying to learn the right way to construct the project.We finally had to make it up just to finish it.A little more detail or other angled photos would help.Then he decided to roll it on the floor and half of it fell apart.That's a lot of effort for the little one to make just to have it disintegrate within seconds.

This looks better then it is. Doesn't stay together and directions ate not easy to follow. Good if you're kid wants to build on his own.

Avoid this toy. The instructions do not give enough detail to allow you to build what is pictured.The views are from on perspective and don't show how to attach different pieces together.The only "tool" is a wrench that is unnecessary due to having to finger tighten everything.The 'airplane' build requires you to bend plastic pieces.The crane I can't figure out how to complete.The cover photo shows extra parts that aren't included.The age listing is for 5+ and I am a 32 year old engineer who can't get this built.The pieces do not stay together.Disappointed that this looked like a great toy for my sons birthday and is a pile of garbage pieces.

Great toy. I was really surprised how interested my 5 year old has been with this. He loves the crane. And I think this is a great toy to donate to charities. No batteries required and should be hit with tons of young kids. For the price I highly recommend it.

This toy took my husband and I looking and the pictures they give you for instructions (there is NO step-by-step) and the pictures on the box to even try to put this together! NOT worth the headache!

As a parent I enjoy the challenge of trying to read and understand the pictures and construct the crane.However, I didn't buy it for me and the fact there are no instructions for a toy supposedly for ages 5 and up isbeside me.
