AMVR Dual Charger Magnetic Charging Station/Stand,Support Firmware Upgrade for HTC VIVE Controller

As everyone has clearly stated on reviews and believe them these pieces that go in the controller. They are yes a bit of work to get in and they must snap all the way in to work. BUT once they are in they don’t come out! They WILL break inside your controller and I hope you will be lucky enough get them out. It will depend on how much of it breaks off. The pieces are plastic and despite using a screwdriver supplied it will separate due to how titghtbthe go in to start. The syncing for firmware updates was sketchy and would not work. It only is to work on the right side, not the left. U will need a 2.4 amp plug to charge these appropriately. iPad charger works for this. But again the love that handles the wireless charging is faulty poorly mad and will break off when or if you have to take them out. In my case it was because I couldn’t sync the firmware with the base and needed to plug controller back into a std cable to PC. U then end op with a nice stand that’s no longer functional for charging

I really like the look of this station. Unfortunately, the little pieces that go into the controllers won't go in far enough to make a connection. I pressed as hard as possible and couldn't get it to click into place. Too bad, because otherwise it seems pretty sturdy. Maybe I just got a bad one.

I have the black version so I'm already familiar with the product but once I saw the wood grain version I had to have it. It looks great on my desk and with this version you can firmware update your wands through the charger since it hooks up via USB. The stand comes with a switch as well so you can turn it off when your wands are done charging. If you showcase your work at conferences like I do this is also a great way to keep your presentation area looking legit while always having your wands charging when not in use.

Loving the product so far! The only downside as to right now is that one of the magnetic inputs is defective and will not connect to the inside of the HTC Vive controller. I tried swapping controllers thinking it was just a bad controller, but one worked while the other didn’t. Otherwise it’s a great place to put your controllers without having to figure out which cable is right, and stops a mess of cables from getting tangled! I will continue to try and fiddle with the defective magnetic port to see what I can do.

I’ve had 2 sets of these iDudu, really like them for easy charging via magnet and clean aesthetics. Wood grain nice look for VR in the boardroom.

Amazing stand and charger. Read the directions if you need to upgrade the firmware or plug your controllers into your computer. One of the charge dock ports is wired to the USB cable to allow you to “plug” one into your computer at a time.

enjoy the ease at which you can place a controller on the station and it just snaps in place and starts charging.

Got this as a gift for the hubs. Looks very elegant on his desk and works very well, charge wise.
