Besides exceptional quality, installation is not difficult, provided you follow an online brand specific video and don't get too carried away with the instructions that came with the unit. Unit is incredibly powerful and virtually noiseless.

Just had one installed high up on the wall where it’s supposed to be and set it to be. Instead of having the temp sensor in the remote down where the humans are they put it in the unit that’s up near the ceiling. Since the heat all goes up if I set it to 72 degrees it won’t get the actual temperature over 62. Dumbest design flaw I have ever heard of. These things aren’t new. This should have been changed after the first one was installed.

The Mitsubishi mini I used to know had an infinitely variable fan speed control depending on demand. These new units do not do that.The fan never slows unless you manually slow it down. The remote thermostat is useless. The AC will continue to run even after the desired temp is reached. It will bring the room temperature 5 deg below its set point and just continue to run and cool. Same with the heat in reverse. Room becomes too warm. With modern technology today there is no excuse.I have been forced to spend $350 to upgrade the thermostat control for proper operation.
