Great dust collection
These work great if you have a good dust extraction system. gets most of the dust through the mesh and keeps your work area clean.

Discs for the best sanding system I’ve used
The best sanding system I own. The discs are the correct size and attach securely with the hook and loop attachments.

good life
these discs do not leave grit in your work therefore you may carve or use other tools without fear of dulling

revised opinion - can recommend - get the festool pad protector with these.
The 80 grit Mirka Abranet discs don't seem to have any advantage over the regular granat 80 grit pad from festool - perhaps less life, in fact. Used on end grain walnut where I really needed a long-lived abrasive and was disappointed.Later; Put a gently used one on the pad protector (Festool) and it started cutting well - these are pretty good, in fact.

Surprisingly Aggressive
Once I got my Mirka sander (I still have a Ceros) I rarely use my belt sander. With an 80x disc on there it really does a good job of taking down the surface and leaving it nice. Let the grit do the work for you- keep at the coarse until it's done all it can, only then begin finer grits. I do have some of the Abranet HD that goes down to 40x, but for most everything I do I begin at 80x.

Tough sanding disks
This highbred sandpaper removes material very quickly. The big advantage is that it does not easily plug up from glue or old finish. I use a wire brush to clean off sticky materials. Also the dust collection is far superior to standard grit/paper sanding discs. I believe it is more economical than standard grit paper in the course of grits. These disks last longer and save time by not having to stop in the middle of a job to change disks.I have to say I do not see a significant difference in the finer grits below 120. I use Abranet 80, 100, and 120 with a Festool Rotex 150 and selectable oscillation, which helps smooth out sanding marks between these course grits. 100 grit is favorite.
