VH Nutrition RHODIOLA | Rhodiola Rosea Supplement | 3% Salidrosides Standardized Extract | 60 Easy-to-Swallow Capsules

I have been taking this supplement for a week now and WOW! I didn't expect much but this particular supplement has proven a world of difference to me! I have been searching for the extra help with my personal healing journey that I've been on this past year and stumbled on this during one of my Dr. Axe videos. A quick history of me is someone who has PTSD and now 2 years into a healing journey post stress, I found myself unable to sleep, cope with basic life stressors, unable to lose weight, chronic fatigue, and just a feeling of general anxiety. I had cleaned up my diet to include mostly fruits and veggies, I try to exercise an hour a day, I try to sleep a full 7 hours, and other mechanisms that are taught to us with PTSD. Nothing seemed to work. I realize it might be a little too soon to give such a great review but I honestly have not felt this great in years. I cannot explain it other than this supplement complimented all of my other efforts and helped them work. Since taking this supplement, I feel much more focused, much more able to handle life's daily stressors, I have more energy (I don't need my usual 3 cups of coffee to wake up in the morning), and I just have a much better feeling of overall happiness. I have no affiliation to this company or Amazon but just wanted to give hope to those out there struggling with similar issues that I had. Rhodiola is an amazing supplement and this was a huge plus for me (BTW I'm 40 yr old female, 5'6" and 155 lbs and this amount of Rhodiala has worked great for me). I take it in the morning and really have felt better each day that I've taken this.

Rhodiola has been a huge help for me. I've been taking Adderall for my ADD for many years, and it has done terrible damage to my body and Dopamine levels. I've been desperate to get off of Adderall for a long time, because it barely works for the intended purposes for me anymore. And although Adderall is a stimulant medication, I am constantly exhausted, and even more so when I try to take myself off of the medication, to the point where I cannot function. I've seen numerous doctors over the years for help with my this, and none of them have ever offered any helpful suggestions or solutions, leaving me to try to figure it out on my own. I've tried so many different things over the years with no success, which left me feeling desperate, depressed and hopeless. Then, I finally came across Rhodiola. I take this in combination with L-tyrosine, L-Theanine, Dopa Mucuna, and Methyl B-12. Finally, I have noticed some results and my hope has been restored! I've noticed that the Rhodiola seems to really help with my energy levels, even when taken alone, and the combination has helped to restore my motivation and stabilize my moods. I feel much less stressed and noticeably less anxiety. I haven't been able to get off the Adderall yet, and I'm not completely fixed, but I'm on my way to getting my life back! Thank you!

Rhodiola Rosea really helps my winter depression (S.A.D.). This product is definitely a big capsule of stinky plant matter. Seems to be working well and I'm glad there are no additives. However, it not only stinks, the aftertaste and particularly the burps are disgusting. Make sure you take it right after a heavy meal and with lots of water. Then it is a great product.

I was actually quite surprised by this supplement, pleasantly. I suffer from a hormonal imbalance that causes hormonal migraines, often, adult hormonal acne & a good amt of anxiety & occassional depression. Ive used supplements & prescription meds over the yrs & some give temporary relief, but it is just that, temporary. The scripts often have side effects i just cannot handle. So many migraine meds do not cater to hormonally caused migraines & just don't work as well for them. I'm a 33 yr old healthy woman. I take spearmint caps 2 reduce help my body eliminate excess free testosterone & it does help, on top of that I use DIM & Vitex to boost healthy estrogen levels & eliminate "bad" estrogens. The dim opens new pathways & actives enzymes your body uses to rid itself of those bad estrogens, but in the process those same enzymes & pathways can be used 2 process & eliminate free testosterone as well, the testosterone that doesn't have a propose & ends up continually circulating through the bloodstream causing problems, ie- stimulating excess oil production, inflammation, etc. I take a liver boosting detox supplement w/ dandelion & burdock to aid my liver in processing & ridding itself of of the excess hormones & toxins, if your liver & kidneys become overwhelmed then your body will use your skin 2 push toxins from your body, then acne, blotches, inflammation, clogged pores, even eczema can emerge. Finally i take a probiotic & l-lysine 2 keep my gut bacteria healthy. It absolutely affects healthy hormone production & skin health.So,while all of these things were helping & ive seen good results, my migraines were still there, especially during that time of month, & my skin wasn't perfect. Maybe I should mention I work as a medical esthetician & treat people's skin all day. I can prefect their's but not being able 2 do the same 4 mibe wad embarrassing & i didn't want it 2 take away from my client's confidence in me. Im sure birth control or spironolactone would have given me the final results I was looking for w/ my skin, but pumping my body full of artificial hormones to only aid my skin is against everything I believe in regarding internal & external skin health, and spiro is really a blood pressure medication that carries it's own side effects. I could always easily cover my acne w/ makeup & actually get compliments on my skin often, but i want 2 be able 2 get those compliments bare faced w/ out covering anything. Of course my experience w/ topical trmts allows me 2 treat & rid my skin of any hyperpigmentation or erythema left behind after a breakout, but i've still be striving 4 completely clear skin. More than that the migraines, gone & relief from anxiety.I actually had never considered that my anxiety issues were related 2 my hormonal imbalance, but it makes sense. I often dread getting out of bed to face the day, for no reason other than my mind is telling me I should. I struggle to deal w/ any confrontation, even minor things & often blow it out of proportion in my mind. I put off things I feel uncomfortable dealing with making them more & more stressful to finally address. Occasionally ife in generally just overwhelms me 2 the point that hiding in my room & sleeping 4 hours is my answer. Most days I'm fine, but my procrastination means that when things come 2 a head i experience anxiety severe enough 2 bring my activities 2 a hault.That long account brings me to Rhodiola Rosea. It's ability to lower cortisol levels intrigued me. Cortisol is linked to acne, headaches & migraines & anxiety. It is our bodies fight/flight/freeze response that stimulates the release of cortisol. Because my mind lives in a state of anxiousness, things that a normal person would just deal with & move on put my body into that fight-flight senario & cortisol is released, raising heart & breathing rates. Because your body thinks it will need all it's energy for the ensuing threat, digestion & other unnecessary bodily functions cease during that time & testosterone can become elevated due to it's ability 2 aid aggression. Your liver & kidneys stop processing toxins & excess hormines during this time allowing them to continue circulating through the blood streamMy sensitivity is to testosterone & "bad" estrogens. They stimulate inflammation causing my migraines & excess oil production that traps skin cells in pores clogging them, allowing for the anaerobic environment bad p. acnes need to feed causing inflammatory breakouts. Decreasing my bodies cortisol levels could be the answer to so many issues I was facing, but I didn't have much hope that this supplement could actually lower it enough to make that much of a difference.However, to my genuine surprise, after a few days I have slept better, experience a lot less sleep disrupting morning anxiousness. My breakouts have all but ceased, but 2 be fair, i have finally settled on a great skin care regine that was already benefitting my skin greatly; i have no "active" acne. There are however PIH & PIE I need 2 deal with still, my experience as an esthetician will make still quite simple though. Finally I have had 1 migraine this past week, & good # for me. I tend to make it through my day, come home & the pain begins then lasting into the late evening or early morning. I'm thankful i do not suffer from 2-3 day migraines as some do. I will continue to use this supplement, i absolutely believe it has made a difference. I'm quite good at reading my body & this isn't a placebo effect, i'm too pessimistic about supplements to experience that, lol. I think there are a variety of issues & period this could be beneficial for, my issues, adult hormonal acne, migraines & anxiety being only a few. I've had no side effects, & i think it's worth a try. Cortisol can be highly inflammatory & so mamy conditions stem from excess inflammation in our bodies. Consider this before taking something prescribed or with side effects. Ask your Dr thought to ensure it's ok 4 u, especially if u are on over meds.
